Instructions: Now that your group has decided on an issue, you must demonstrate that there is a problem. You will turn in this research sheet completed with two articles attached that you showed that there is a problem

I. There is a problem in society today. That problem is:

The government is not getting enough money. It does not have enough money to support public programs, and not enough money to distribute to the impoverished citizens of the United States.

II. Facts that demonstrate that there is a problem are:
(Two articles and bibliography must be attached)

The government provides the money for the states to rebuild streets and bridges. Our state does not have the money to rebuild some of the roads or fix the pot holes in them. They also provide the money for the welfare programs and for those who live under the poverty line. Most of these families don't get the to eat three meals a day, especially depending on how many family members there are. The government also uses the taxpayers money to pay for public programs like building parks and basketball courts, or other recreational facilities. Some areas are less fortunate and don't have any near their neighborhood.
